HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF:
As a result of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, all general donations to Bright Hope will be designated for relief in this crisis torn country. In addition to a direct financial donation, you may also sponsor a Med Pack ($30) - a box of basic medical and sanitary supplies that will be critical for individuals while the Haiti infrastructure is in disarray. San Benave Concert Series

Coming to TAD AKERS on Friday, Jan. 22 7 PM! Mark your calendar and plan on attending another evening of great entertainment in the the Bay Area.

'The Crystal Merchant', a track from their latest album 'Fascination' has been nominated for a Grammy for 'Best Country Instrumental'. The tune was written by Kym Warner and Todd Lombardo and features Jedd Hughes on guitar. The 52nd Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on January 31st, 2010. This is the band's second Grammy nomination.

As I ponder what lies ahead for 2010, I sit at the desk in my little home office and look down to a piece of paper under the glass top covering my desk. It must have been there for months unnoticed & cut out from who knows where. It obviously at the time made an impression on me. Written by a gentleman by the name of Longfellow it goes as such:

When life doesn't add up, it leaves the heart sick. When we have done all we know to do and the formula has not worked, it leaves us questioning. These are times that try the very souls of men. There is no human sense to be made of it. We are left with a choice to cling or not to cling. There are times when holding on to our Master's robe is all that we can do. It is all that He wants us to do.

May 2010 find you "holding on" to that which is most important. I eagerly anticipate the challenges and opportunities that will be afforded us in the coming days, weeks, and months.
